A sweetheart of a demon Manny and a single human dad end up being just what the other needed.
From the blurb:
Demons made great mannies. I'd know, I had one...
When I hired Calux to be my son's caretaker, I didn't think there was anything strange about him. On the contrary, he was perfect.
Calux was good at his job, and my son Gunner seemed to like him. The fact that he was a man also helped since it meant no pesky feelings would get between him and his job.
Or so I'd thought.
When Calux told me he was a demon and I was his fated mate...everything changed.
My plan had been to stay single and raise my son, at least until he was a little bit older, but when Fate intervened, I found myself falling in love in spite of all my best intentions.
My Demon Manny is an MM demon x human romance featuring a human single dad who realizes he might not be straight after all, a sweet demon who loves taking care of people, and a six-month-old baby boy who isn't at all afraid of his big, demon manny. Full of sweetness and low angst fun, My Demon Manny is book 2 in the Demon Debacles series but can be read as a standalone.
Angel's review:
Something you can expect with Stella's book is the absolute cuteness of the characters and the couples. Lux was fabulous, but he was so adorable when he was spending time with little Gunner. Let's talk about Gunner, shall we? The story does revolve mostly around him, after all! He's adorable! For him being a baby, a couple months old baby at that, he had such a vibrant personality that was so endearing.
Archer's character was great too. You could really tell he was a dedicated dad who cared deeply about his son's well-being. He only wants the best for him.
My one critique is about the pacing... While the relationship did develop smoothly it happened early on in the story, leaving a large amount of the story left that was basically filler. That's my only negative.
Archer and Lux's relationship developed naturally and overtime. While there is a fated mates aspect it's more of an undertone then the main focused. Which I thought was handled quite nicely. There wasn't any insta-lust or insta-love which again, I enjoyed. I'm looking forward to reading Jerry's story once it comes out, his character is fascinating!
My Demon Manny is currently available as an e-book and paperback and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
