Forever Family Trilogy the Collected Works by Kiki Clark; Narrated by Liam DiCosimo

The Forever Family Trilogy is a collection of novellas that are cute and steamy.

From the blurb:

Favor, Easy, and Faker

This trilogy features a group of friends who are brought together by circumstances but remain family by choice. You'll find May/December pairings, brother's best friend, bi awakenings, fake dating, and plenty of that Kiki Clark steam.

Contains all three novellas (no new content).

Favor is a novella featuring a busybody older brother, piercings in fun places, a very suggestive sculpture, spackle used as a flirting technique, a not-so-straight contractor, and an audiobook narrator who's had a bit of a dry spell and is sure he's imagining the way the hot contractor is looking at him.

Easy is a standalone novella in the Forever Family Trilogy featuring a hotter-than-sin dentist experiencing a bi-awakening, a graphic designer who considers the term “easy” to be a compliment, a game night that gets a bit out of hand, and no piercings in fun places thankyouverymuch.

Faker is the final installment in the Forever Family Trilogy but can be enjoyed on its own. It features a 30-something former marine who maybe likes pretending more than he should, a 20-something social worker trying his hardest not to forget none of it’s real, practice dates with more PDA than sense, and the use of praise in very creative ways.

Lesetiger's review:

Favor

I really enjoyed this short love story. I like the author's writing style, which made it easy for me to empathize with the two main characters, Jermey and Declan.

Jeremy has his house remodeled by his brother's friend. Delcan takes on the job, but he is very shy and Jeremy's first impression of him is less than ideal. Many misunderstandings follow, so the romance gets off to a rather slow start. Delcan is awkward at times, but quite sweet and incredibly shy. Jeremey, on the other hand, is very outgoing and he knows how to cover up his weaknesses very well.

But as soon as the first obstacles are overcome, nothing stands in the way of a relationship and from then on it gets hot. The relationship is fast and intense and I would have liked the story to be a bit longer so that the emotions could be described more intensely.

I can recommend this short, entertaining and steamy story.

The audiobook was narrated by Liam DiCosimo and he did a great job. He brought the story to life with his performance and matching voices. I'm already looking forward to the next volume!

Easy

Easy is the second volume in the Forever Family series. The story is relatively short, but is hot and entertaining and gets by with very little angst.

Simon meets older but very hot dentist Jackson because of a dental problem.

Due to the brevity of the story, this is an insta-love and that worked well because you can feel the connection between Simon and Jackson right away, they are instantly attracted to each other. For Jackson, it's his first time with a man, but I loved that he just accepted it. There are hot and sizzling scenes and a great happy ending.

Faker

This is the third volume in the series and finally Will and Samuel get their story. The author has a wonderful writing style, so I was quickly immersed in the story.

Samuel doesn't feel like attending his ex-boyfriend's wedding alone. That's why his best friend Will has the idea that they could pretend to be fake boyfriends. I really loved the close friendship between the two of them and you can feel how close they are. Will is very sweet and very helpful. But what happens when you already have a crush on your roommate and then he offers you a fake relationship?

The story was very entertaining and for me it was a big plus that there was no big drama when the two got together. The happy ending is lovely and romantic.

The audiobook isn't very long, so I listened to it in one go. Liam DiCosimo did a great job narrating the audiobook. He brought the story to life with his performance and matching voices.
