Nash (The Daddies of River Gorge Book 4) by Jacki James

It's the last of the River Gorge Daddies and Nash delivers. A sweet boy who's heart keeps being trampled finally finds a Daddy that loves everything about him.

From the blurb:

Spencer knows he isn't boy material, so why can't he resist Nash Brooks?

Nothing in Spencer's life has ever come easy, including romance. As a side with boundaries too many men have disrespected, he knows having a Daddy of his own isn't in the cards. Even if he really craves someone to take care of him.

When Nash pushes past his defenses and promises to give Spencer everything he wants, it's hard to trust but impossible to resist.

Nash is everything he ever wanted but never dared to hope for, but can he really be the boy his Daddy deserves, or is he just holding him back?

SNiK's Review:

Fourth in series (Daddies of River Gorge), but can be read as a standalone. Daddy/boy. Side representation. Dual POV.

Spencer has had disappointment after disappointment looking for a Daddy, and when he meets Nash he’s too afraid to let the horse wrangler get close. Working at a horse rescue takes up a lot of Nash’s time, and he never thought he could find a permanent boy, but the cute nurse Spencer has Nash seeing a possible future if he could get the boy to trust him.

Both Nash and Spencer are likable, sweet, and caring characters, and seeing them slowly approach their relationship was all the swoon. Once they are together the romance becomes serious quickly, but I didn’t mind because I could believe that they found their special person and didn’t want to hesitate once they both could see being together forever. I’m sad this is the last of the series, but there were plenty of character cameos to round out the series and hints of a new group of Daddies and boys soon to be discovered.

Heather's Review:

A loving daddy, a skittish boy and a whole community coming together... such sweetness and swoon from the fourth and final book in the Daddies of River Gorge series... this book has a slow build, lots of daddy patience and a boy who needs to learn to love himself so he can experience the lofv that surrounds him.

I'm looking forward to the spinoff and hopefully more cameos from Spencer, Nash and the other River Gorge guys!
