READY, SET, GLOW! is part of the multi-author series, Christmas Falls, set in a small town and with that Hallmark Holiday vibe.
From the blurb:
There is nothing more annoying than Christmas...
I see the irony of being the owner of a Christmas tree farm and hating the very holiday that keeps my family business alive, but Christmas Falls takes this season way too seriously with their festive business names to the sheer merriment that envelops the entire town.
I'm no grinch, but I can relate to one being surrounded by all this jubilance. It doesn't help when a new part-timer joins the tree farm and is the very embodiment of joy, starting from his name—Felix Joy.
He's ten years younger than me, and I feel the age difference every second I interact with him. His enthusiasm exhausts me, yet I can't stay away, even if it means I have to deal with the ridiculous nickname he forces onto me.
He's melting the fatigue of Christmas, but I'll never admit it. I'm ready for all the blinding lights to come down, for him to leave, and to finally get some peace and quiet.
Christmas Falls is a multi-author M/M romance series set in a small town that thrives on enough holiday charm to rival any Hallmark movie.
Molly Otto's Review:
The right balance of sweet and snark for this addition to the Christmas Falls universe. The Brooks family is a riot, and it was great to see how welcoming they were of Felix into the fold. Bruce may seem grumpy, but he just needed a partner who understood him and his priorities. Felix is just a little ray of sunshine who was needed to lighten Bruce up to be truly happy.
It was a sweet story but not too sweet where I lost interest. The banter was on point, and neither man let the other get away with crap.

Sheena's Review:
Ready, Set, Glow! is part of the multi-author Christmas Falls series, but can easily be read as a standalone. Featuring a grumpy bear of a farmer and a determined ball of sunshine. Grumpy/sunshine is book kryptonite for me. I'm a total sucker for it, and add in some festive feeling and it was a wonderful holiday story. Felix moves to Christmas Falls to make a new life for himself, and to find a little independence. He lands working on a Christmas Tree farm owned by Bruce, who is a total grouch at the start but with a completely soft center.
Their meet-cute is lovely, and honestly, this whole book made me smile pretty much all the way through. There is zero angst, a bit of heat and a lot of sweetness. These two together are pretty great, actually in the way they just accept each other as they are. It was such a joy to witness their relationship grow - even as quickly as it did - and there are lots of sweet moments along the way. I enjoyed this so much. Felix and Bruce were a joy.

Heather's Review:
I have been waiting to see who got to write Bruce's story... I knew that he'd played roles in so many other Christmas Falls stories and deserved to find his HEA this season... and Felix Joy is the perfect sunny foil to his grumpy exterior...
I love how Rye Cox was able to balance the sweet, the snark and the spirit of the holidays while mixing Felix into the family! I also love the twist at the end because it helped focus things and brought a smile to my face.
