Snowbody Loves Me, Christmas Falls #2 by Jacki James

Christmas Falls is full of holiday cheer, celebrations, and of course, love! Snowbody Loves Me is the second book from the multi-author series.

From the blurb:

They say there’s no place like home for the holidays... But that isn’t true when snowbody loves you.

When I get ditched at the airport right before a holiday trip to the Bahamas, spending Christmas at
home alone isn’t all that appealing so impulsively hopping on a plane to the most Christmasy place on earth seems like a good idea. At least until I realize I’ve got no plan, no place to stay, and nothing but beach clothes.

Luckily, Arlo, the handsome B&B owner, comes to my rescue.

Christmas Falls is supposed to be a quick holiday escape, but the town is just so dang cute. And so is Arlo.

There’s just something about the older man that draws me in and makes me want to stay a bit longer, and then a bit longer. Through sleigh rides, ornament-making, and handling a winter storm that strands guests, the Gingerbread Cottage B&B, Christmas Falls, and more importantly Arlo begin to feel like home.

The holidays never end in Christmas Falls–but can I say the same for me and Arlo?

Christmas Falls is a multi-author M/M romance series set in a small town that thrives on enough holiday charm to rival any Hallmark movie.

Angel's Review:

I am fairly new to Jacki's writing, but when I saw she had a book coming out in the Christmas Falls series, I knew I had to sign up to read a copy!

Emerson spends his days writing his mystery novels, and spending most of his free time with the characters that live in his head. He's lonely, and while he did have a girlfriend, he knows it's not going anywhere. On a last-minute whim, he decides to go to Christmas Falls, after learning his now ex girlfriend replaced him before they ever broke up. He was not prepared for the weather, or for the nice, good looking B&B owner to help him out.

Arlo runs one of the local B&B's that are in Christmas Falls. When he overheard Emerson's situation, he offered one of the available rooms to the man. He didn't know that the offer would bring these two men closer than they thought possible.

I LOVE Christmas romance stories. I really love them. They just make me so happy! I love love, and I also love Christmas. The scenery that's described in Snowbody Loves Me is so vivid and very detailed. It makes me wish there Christmas Falls actually existed. I would love to visit the town if it were real.

The two main characters were fantastic. They developed a friendship that slowly developed into more. Although it took both men almost losing each other for them to realize exactly how much they mean to one another. I thought this book was written in a beautiful way.

This story definitely embodies what the holiday season is about. In fact, Arlo and Emerson are very good examples of holiday goodness/kindness. They both helped people when they were in a lurch and always tried to do what was best for the people around them.

Overall, a really fantastic holiday story filled with amazing characters making sweet memories.

Heather's Review:

If you're in the mood for a hallmark style Christmas romance, where the city guy finds love and acceptance in the small Christmas town, you're going to love Snowbody Loves Me!  Emerson arrives in Christmas Falls completely unprepared and is taken in by Arlo, the sweet B & B owner - first given room at the inn, then room in the owner's suite... and finally in the owner's bed...

Emerson and Arlo experience the magic of Christmas, problem-solve together and end up with their HEA after just a small amount of angst... definite Hallmark vibes.
