What an absolute hoot of a story!!! I loved it!! Fake boyfriend trope mixed in with mystery/suspense - it certainly grabbed my attention from the first chapter and couldn't put the book down. 

It was awkwardly cute to see this fake relationship crossing into more... but then they'd back again!!! argh!!! Fair warning - this is very much a slow burn story, no steamy scenes... and ends on a soft cliffhanger with regards to the MC's, but the mystery gets solved!!!  

My Ex's New Boyfriend is a Murderer has a very well written plot, the simmering suspense kept me... well, in suspense (hehehehe) and the hot'n'cold between the MC's had me going "yes!!" to "noooo" quite frequently.  

Really really good and I am sooo looking forward to next in series!
