No Rules (No Regrets Book 2) by Nora Phoenix

No Rules is the second book in the series and while it can be read as a standalone, you would benefit from having read the first book in the series as well. The series is so amazing though you’re going to want to read everything though!

Just as with the previous book and the No Shame series, I absolutely loved it. The chemistry between Alex and Ryan was so good and I loved how we get to know more about them as the story progresses. 

I also love how we got some cameos characters from other books as well. I have no idea how Nora does it, but her books just draw you in and stick with you long after you’ve finished.

Chemistry off the charts and smarts too!  I love the combination of Ryan and Alex, both as an investigative pairing and as a romantic couple!  I truly loved watching Ryan come to terms with what he really wants...  I also love that each suspense sub-plot gets wrapped up in the book so you get a satisfying conclusion to both the romance and the suspense.

This book is delightfully Kinky and has some ethical non-monogamy, some consensual dub-con and lots of great impact play, plus all the feels!

This book gives you Alex and Ryan’s story. I enjoyed seeing these two find their way. They burn up the pages and have a good time doing it. The two make a good couple and their journey is full of emotions. Both men are dealing with their own problems, but together they find something worth fighting for. 

It was nice to watch their relationship grow and deepen as they spend more time together. I enjoyed seeing Alex growing into the man he could always be. 

Not only do the main characters shine, but the secondary characters also have a lot to say. It was also nice to see the camaraderie between the friends.  

This story is full of strong characters and a plot that pulls you in right from the start, making this a nice addition to this series.
