Gray really doesn't need his stepbrother to see him at his worst, but when he ends up in the ER with Caleb as his nurse he can't help but be angry as Caleb insists on helping him recover. There is too much attraction and tension, so hooking up seems to be the answer, if only they can keep feelings out of the equation. Finding out that they don't really hate each other, Caleb and Gray end up caring a little too much to be just stepbrothers.

Gray and Caleb’s story is an enemies-with-benefits-to-lovers romance between stepbrothers who discover that sometimes the person you hate is the only one who can give you what you need. Expect lots of steamy encounters, tons of dirty talk, and reluctant feels as these two enemies learn the truth about themselves, and each other. It is the first book in the exciting new Crimson Club series but can be read as a standalone.

First in series (Crimson Club). Adversaries to lovers. Found family. Dual POV. 

Nothing is going Gray’s way, he’s struggling to pay his bills, his brother is dating his former rival, his bosses at the strip club are jerks, and he got beat up trying to help someone. When his estranged stepbrother ends up being his nurse at the emergency room and helps him recover, Gray can’t help being angry and a brat. But Caleb overcomes his own anger towards Gray and has no problem handling Gray’s antagonism, and their mutual attraction gives way to an agreement to get their tensions out by hooking up. Both Caleb and Gray feel the pull towards each other, and eventually communicate about their pasts and imagined slights. 

Willow Dixon knows how to bring the dirty talk, and Caleb and Gray have plenty of steamy times but eventually feel the pull of their connection to build more emotional ties. There is the introduction of a group of supportive secondary characters that make up Gray’s found family, some of which hopefully may appear as main characters as the series continues. An entertaining and spicy read.

I'm so happy that Willow Dixon has spun off from the Never Have I Ever series to give us Gray's story - and to continue with his friends at the Crimson Club!  Since meeting Gray in his brother's book, Never Have I Ever Wanted my Brother's Rival, I've wanted him to get his HEA!

Willow takes us back to the Step-brother scenario, giving us estranged step-bros who have had very little contact with each other and of course, a heavy dollop of animosity!  Add in a head injury, forced proximity, off the charts chemistry and a chance to actually clear the air and you get a trademark Willow Dixon story full of steam, healing and just a touch of angst!  This story is well paced, action packed and gives us lots of scope for the future of the Crimson Club series!

About the Author

What can I say about myself? It’s kind of like being the new kid in school and being asked to tell everyone a bit about yourself. Anyone else forget everything they’ve ever liked, thought of, and even their name in those moments?

A few facts about me; I’m a veteran, I’m Canadian, and I love books! I’ve been writing my own stories since I was eight and wrote my first novel at sixteen. I’m the first to admit those attempts weren’t my best work, but they started me on a journey of creating stories that has led me to fulfilling my dream of becoming an author.
