My Boss With Benefits (Elysian Escapades Book 2) by Casey Cox

An impressive boss and his incredibly competent assistant that has a crush on him stuck in a hotel room. Shared secret feelings are revealed, but Miles doesn't want to be that guy that takes advantage of his employee. Can Kyler convince him that it's worth the risk? SNik read My Boss With Benefits.

From the blurb:

He’s older than me. He's my boss. And he's my secret crush.

Miles Huntington is literally everything I've ever wanted in a man. Powerful. Kind. And best of all, hefty.

He's also my boss, which means my inappropriate obsession has to stay where it belongs—buried in my overactive imagination.

Until a freaking hurricane forces us to share a hotel room. And a bed.

My resolve crumbles. All the feelings I've tried so hard to contain start spilling out.

Now the question is: have I lost my job and ruined everything, or is there a chance Miles could become more than just my boss?

***Elysian Escapades is a NOVELLA spin-off series from the Escape books. Each novella can be read as a stand-alone.

SNik's Review:

Second in novella series (Elysian Escapades, spin-off from the author’s Escape series). Boss/employee. Age gap. Dual POV. Quick read.

Kyler has a massive crush on his boss that he’s been hiding for months, but an unexpected hurricane strands them together at the Elysian resort, and Kyler confesses his feelings. Miles doesn’t expect Kyler to be attracted to him, but he is very aware of their power imbalance, no matter how much he wants to reciprocate Kyler’s feelings.

Casey Cox does a good job of providing background for both Kyler and Miles, while allowing them to get to know each other in a very rapid fashion, which leads them to starting a romantic relationship.

Kyler pursues his boss, and it is clear that their attraction is much more than physical. A quick read with a little steam and a lot of sweetness.
