Choose Us by Freesia Woodley (Bears-4-U Series)

Freesia Woodley created a throuple story in the Bears-4-U universe - check out what our team thinks of Choose Us!

From the blurb:

Overprotective twunks, Daddy otters, and little bears...Oh my!

Ollie Koch had all but given up on finding himself a Daddy. None of the ones he'd met were interested in a little that was hard of hearing. When Bears-4-U rolls out a new event, he hopes it will help him find the man he's been searching for.

Hal Mathison is fed up with trying to find his dream little. None of the men he'd gone out with matched his ideal at all. If something doesn't change he may consider giving up on ever being a Daddy.

Gunner Benson's mission in life was to protect his best friend. Heartbreak is a pain he strives to save Ollie from. The Bears-4-U event threatens to ruin all his hard work.

When these three men meet the chemistry is electric, but not all the sparks between them are friendly. Prior desires and new attractions send them into a whirlwind they have no hope of escaping. Can they come together to find love or is this just one more failed romance?

Bears-4-U is a MM Daddy romance multi-author series, featuring a host of delicious Daddy pairings. The Bears-4-U dating app is all about putting Bears and Teddy Bears together for their honey-sweet HEAs. Psst, no real bears involved. Each book can be read as a standalone, but why not snuggle up with all the bears?

A Daddy/little, best friends to lovers, enemies to lovers novel with feeding/food kink and a HEA

Trigger warning: Mentions of parental death, mention of prior relationship with cheating and abuse

Heather's Review:

Ollie is adorable and I love that he is a self described bear little.  His stepbrother Gunner is a Twunk and a dancer and we actually don't get a lot of physical description beyond 'otter' for Hal, the daddy who matches with Ollie on the Bears-4-U app...

Choose Us was a quick and fairly low angst read, but I was craving more... I wanted more kink, more emotions, more communication and more throuple...  While I love the idea of the throuple, I think this book may have gone in too many directions for it's length...

If you're looking for a quick and easy read with a steamy throuple scene and a HEA, an adorable little bear and two men who love him and each other, you may enjoy Choose Us.

Autumn's Review:

This book is mmm, and I was happy to jump at the chance to read an arc of this on. I enjoyed the story line, and the characters having sign language was a plus. There arn't enough books like it.

This book wasn't a fit for me, though. I didn't feel connected to the characters, and in places through the story, the author repeated themselves over details too much where the story lost me.

Rating: 3.5 stars.
