Blaze by Elouise East (Illuminate Matchmaking #2)

Are you looking for a low angst novella that isn't dripping in reindeer treats and Christmas spirit?  Check out Elouise East's latest Illuminate Matchmaking story, Blaze

From the blurb:

Who believes in love at first sight?

Drew is a workaholic at a job he loves. Finding no time to socialise, he finally caves and signs himself up for a matchmaking company. He doesn't hold out much hope, but he's willing to give it a try.

After looking after his large family for many years, it's now Zuba's time to shine. His fashion business is growing every week, but he has never found the person he wants to be with. He has nothing to lose by signing up and allowing someone else to decide for him.

When they meet, sparks turn into a blaze they cannot deny, but is it the right choice for them?

A love at first sight, MM matchmaking novella.

Heather's Review:

Blaze is a lovely short story about making an instant connection with your blind date.... this is a low angst, fluffy read that is perfect if you're taking a break from all those holiday stories and just want a quick read to prove that fluffy. sweet stories don't need to have mistletoe and candy canes...

Not as much steam as we typically get from an Elouise East story, but the conversations and the connections are obvious and the story flows well and we get to know a lot about the characters.  For me, the cover doesn't match the inside of the book and with a name like Blaze I was expecting more heat, but otherwise it's a sweet story and a quick read.
