Playing God by Sara Alva

Playing God had an interesting premise that made me think, thought provoking. A seriously good paranormal read.

Playing God was a seriously good paranormal read! Fantastic world building and character development. 

Dominic has been exiled from his community on top of a mountain. Avery is a journalist; he finds Dominic one day on a walk. Avery rescues him and helps him find his way. Dominic is confused by the world around him Avery helps him learn. But Avery has been hurt in the past and is reluctant to get close to anyone. In the process they become friends.

 Dominic seemed kind of naïve and innocent to me. I felt for Dominic, being overthrown then kicked out of his home. Twists and turns kept me on my toes. 

Overall, a fascinating read, kept me glued to the pages. Well written with great pacing.
