Levi and Arne were just so precious and their romance was as well in Dream.
From the blurb:
Arne Miller's security company was his pride and joy. He treated his employees like a family, did his
job with dedication, and found the time to have fun while performing the most dangerous of tasks.
job with dedication, and found the time to have fun while performing the most dangerous of tasks.
When Levi literally runs into his arms and looks up at him with fear-filled green eyes, Arne’s entire world flips upside down and finds a new focus. But his mate is hiding a secret that could tear them apart. Can Arne find out what it is before it’s too late?
Levi Parker was a prominent member of the Kriila society until one day he mysteriously vanished. Years later he was thrust back into the cruel world he had tried so hard to escape.
He didn't expect to be met with a media frenzy, prying eyes, and questions that threatened to uncover more than he was willing to reveal. And he least expected to find his mate in Arne.
But can he look toward his future with Arne if his past still haunts him?
Jacqueleen the Reading Queen's Review:
The story of Arne and Levi was heartbreakingly sweet and just such a tender, loving romance. Arne is over the moon when his fated literally winds up in his arms, but unfortunately Levi isn't. Levi has spent the last years of his life in hiding after being brutally abused by one of his own kind. He has nothing to offer a mate of Arne's caliber and spends much of the book believing this lie. Arne, kind and oh so sweet Arne, is just so patient with Levi. Even when Levi hurts Arne, he's still determined to take care of him any way he can. I don't think fate could have picked a better partner for our scared, sweet Levi.
I liked how as the book went on Levi started to gain confidence in himself bit by bit. When it started his confidence was basically at rock bottom, but being around Arne and other people who cared about Levi started to build him up. It was beautiful. He was so brave and strong, he just didn't realize it. I was so proud of him by the end of the book, just like Arne was.
I can't end this review without mentioning a certain side character. Bailey, one of the security specialists who works for Arne, was just absolutely adorable and I couldn't get enough of his scenes. I cannot wait for his book because damn his mate is certainly going to have his hands full. That is, when he finally pulls his head out of his work and realizes who Bailey is to him. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long!

Janet's Review:
Dream is the second book in the Inescapable series. This book sucked me in and didn’t let go. Let me smiling.
Fated mates are impossible to deny. Levi tries to deny what fate has given to him. He feels he’s broken. Arne wants what fate has given him! Levi broke my heart. He had been through so much trauma and needed to not only heal mentally but also physically. Arne was darn near perfect in his patience with Levi. He would do anything for Levi. I loved the confidence that Levi gained!! I also loved his things!
Overall, this was fantastic, super sweet with lots of angst. Well written with pacing that flowed!
