Love in Slow M'Ocean (Destination Daddies Season Two) by Gianni Holmes

Love in Slow M'Ocean is a story about a bratty boy trying to convince his caring Daddy that he wants a forever relationship. Sometimes all the good intentions can't stand in the way of love.

From the blurb:

JEFF

When I agreed to be Peter’s Daddy, we both knew sex had to be off the table. It’s been two years, and I can’t keep it that way anymore. But I still can’t give him what he wants. I’ve decided to do the unselfish thing and we find him a Daddy who can satisfy him. This Daddy just needs to meet my criteria.

Attractive. [I admit he’s a little vain]

Financially stable. [He’s accustomed to Daddy spoiling him]

Strict but loving. [He’s a huge brat]

Patient. [He’s a virgin who needs a gentle hand]

Only three men from the Cuffd app who will be on our kinky cruise meet my expectations. Now all he has to do is choose which of these men will take him out of my life forever.

PETER

I have seven days at sea to convince my Daddy that I don’t want someone else to take the V-card I’ve been throwing at him for the last two years. He’s just too blind to see that the traits he’s looking for in a Daddy for me are all the ones he already possesses.

This is my last shot to let him see that I have only one criterion for a Daddy.

That man must be Jeff.

Can I prove to him that the brief history we share does not make him ineligible for being my Daddy in all the ways I need him?

SNik's Review:

Part of a multi-author series (Destination Daddies, Season 2) but all are standalone stories. Age gap. Daddy/boy. Established relationship. Dual POV.

When Peter stumbles back into Jeff’s life he takes care of him of course, it doesn’t matter that Peter is his ex-wife's son. Along the way they begin a Daddy/boy relationship, but Jeff draws the line at anything sexual, after all he’s known Peter since he was a child and doesn’t want to take advantage even though he loves Peter with all his heart.

This story focuses on all the care, love and happiness found in Peter and Jeff’s Daddy/boy interactions, both men love each other and Peter yearns for more while Jeff tries to give Peter the option to explore other Daddies.

All of the interactions between Peter and Jeff are sweet and eventually steamy, although it takes some time for Peter to convince Jeff that the last step for them to be together forever is truly something that he wants.

There are some fun cameos from the authors previous books and there are new friendships made and supportive characters throughout.

Reds Book Reads Review:

I loved that there was an existing relationship as the story started but you still got to understand the characters and their back stories.

I also loved the cameos from Gianni’s other series and it  was great seeing them in different contexts. But also if you haven’t read the other series (which are much darker) then it doesn’t detract from the story.

There is a hint of taboo here with Jeff being Peter’s ex-stepfather but it is such an amazing story and I adored it.

Heather's Review:

I am loving the diversity of tropes and angles in this season's crop of Destination Daddies books and Love in Slow M'Ocean may be my favourite... no maybe actually...yep, it's my favourite

Jeff and Peter have a long history as step-father and step-son, torn apart by divorce and creating a found-family and a daddy/little dynamic, but Jeff has been unwilling to commit to an actual adult relationship with Peter....

I love Jeff's intentions with the cruise and the help that Peter gets from some of Gianni's other little characters, as well as the flow of the story, the characters and the writing!

If you only read one Destination Daddies book this summer, this is my number one pick!
