Breach of Trust by Vicki Tharp (The Valley Boys Book 4)

While Breach of Trust is book 4 in The Valley Boys series, I read it as standalone and I didn't miss a thing...

From the blurb:

Saxon and Cesar have terrible taste in men…
And they have the same cheating ex to prove it.

After recovering from that fiasco, neither is looking for a new boyfriend. But when a person in Saxon’s care lands in serious trouble, Cesar runs to the rescue.

Saxon falls for him. Hard. Fast.

He loves how Cesar drops everything to support him. He’s never had someone like Cesar in his life. Someone who makes him feel like he matters.

Things heat up. The attraction. The relationship. The sheets. But...

You know that virtue of Cesar’s that Saxon loves so much?

It very well may be Cesar’s biggest flaw.

When their bond is tested, can they navigate the consequences, or will Cesar’s savior complex leave them in ruins?

Heather's Review:

Getting together to commiserate with your ex's other ex sounds like a chance to commiserate and confide in each other, but what happens when sparks fly?

It's an instant chemistry situation, although Saxon has much more falling into his lap, building the LGBTQIA shelter for kids who are leaving foster care, finding out his long forgotten father is back in town, a kitten and his attraction for the adorable PI who won't let him run away...

Breach of Trust has it's fair share of angst, heat and some healing too... it was a well paced and fun read, perfect for an end of summer date with your pool or beach chair!  I read it as a standalone, having not read the other books in the series (but they've been added to my TBR)
