At sixteen, the show’s producers created Bridges & Bard, a country/boy band to boost ratings, launching a music career that ended after obsessed fans nearly assaulted Ben and Dillon during a tour. Ben quit the business while Dillon continued to tour.

Five years later, Ben watches Dillon spiral out of control on social media while wondering why no one sees how much trouble Dillon is in. When Dillon shows up at his winery, drunk, stoned, with no memory of having made the LA to Sonoma drive, all the feelings Ben has been trying to run away from come barreling back to the surface.

Standalone. Quick read. Second chance. Dual POV. 

Growing up together as young actors and then singing in a rock band, Ben and Dillon are best friends until they begin to try for more, but fame ends up being too much for Ben and when he leaves Dillon ends up relying too much on alcohol and drugs in dealing with the fame. Years later, Ben has established a life owning a winery and still keeps tabs on Dillon through social media, not expecting Dillon to show up, pass out, and cause Ben to take care of him. 

Ben and Dillon quickly establish they want to be together finally, but have to get Dillon to accept rehab and eventually a different lifestyle. 

A nice second chance where being together in their youth leads to Ben and Dillon easily falling back into love.
