Pre-order Teaser & Amazon GC Giveaway - RM Neill's Finding the Right Forever

We were so excited to have RM Neill take over the Facebook group today!  If you see this post on February 23rd or 24th you may still have time to pop into MM Romance Reviewed's Facebook Group to win an ARC of Finding the Right Forever and check out the Author Takeover posts, but now, let's focus on sharing an exciting excerpt from Finding the Right Forever and giving you the chance to win a $10 Amazon GC!

Finding the Right Forever is the second book in the Sheltered Connections Series. This book involves themes of hurt/comfort, grumpy/sunshine, and a spandex elf suit. Laugh-out-loud humor, spur of the moment kitchen shenanigans and two men too stubborn to see what's in front of them make up this 72k word story. Ridiculously horrible singing is included.

You can pre-order it here and it will be delivered to your kindle on March 7th!

From the blurb:

One has no time for love.
The other is desperately seeking acceptance.
Only together can their hearts be made whole.

Owen

For the last seven years, I've been married to my job because it's easier than dealing with the angst that comes with relationships. I was only looking to grow my business, now I'm stuck dealing with a baker whose sunshine and lollipop outlook proves to be a monumental pain in my butt. Friends say I need to learn to have fun, and Parker could be the one to teach me. The more time I spend with him, the more I feel they may be right. Now, I want forever, but I don’t know how to ask for it.

Parker

I was only looking for a place to start my career as a baker. Somehow, I ended up with a boss who is as hot as he is grumpy. I should be focusing on my baking, and build security based on my own success. Instead, Owen is fast becoming my sole focus. My longing for acceptance, to heal the scars from an abusive past, have led me to an impossible choice. Do I pursue my dream job... or dream man?

Excerpt:

“Do you like hot tubs?”

He breaks out of his trance. “Who doesn’t?” His sunshine and mischievous grin sets butterflies loose in my belly.

“One splurge I made on the remodel was to add a deck off my bedroom for a hot tub. I soak out there a lot. Helps calm the mind before bed.” I open the French doors and place the bottle of wine on a table out there to keep it cold. Benefits of having cold weather are having refrigerators anywhere. I raise an eyebrow in question to Parker. “Would you like to join me?”

He bites his lip. “I would love nothing more, but I didn’t pack a suit.”

I shrug, trying for nonchalant but not sure if I achieved it. Of course, he didn’t pack a bathing suit. Why would he? There’s a reason I didn’t tell him and it’s all selfish. “You can go buff or keep your boxers on. You choose.”

“What are you going to do?”

I tear my shirt off and unzip my pants. “Whatever you’re comfortable with, I’ll do the same.”

The boy doesn’t even take a moment to consider, and he blurts, “Nude. Let’s get naked.” I laugh as he rips off the oversized slipper socks with so much force he almost falls on this face. “We have all night Parker, don’t hurt yourself.”

I’ve never been modest about my body. Undressing to sit in a hot tub has been such a routine for me. I don’t even consider how it may seem to others. When I hear a squeak from the other side of the bed, Parker stands frozen. His eyes popping out of his head so far it’s like someone squeezed him too hard.

“What? Are you okay?”

“Do you always just strip and show people,” He waves his hands at me, “that? Do you always drop trou so fast?”

“Sorry, I’m used to being alone. If it bothers you -- “

It’s obviously not a problem because Parker has his clothes off faster than a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat, and I’m stunned at how easy it is for him to stand before me naked. I don’t want to take too much time staring, but I like what I see. A lot. So much for taking things slowly. First, I invite him into my bedroom. Now it’s naked in my hot tub. I should probably look up the definition of slow next time because I’m sure it’s not this.

I can't wait for March 7th... and luckily I don't have to... I have an ARC... you can get one too if you hurry to the Facebook Group giveaway... or you can enter the giveaway below to have $10 in Amazon GC to buy your copy of Finding The Right Forever!
