"Although this is a Mistvale Spin Off, it's unnecessary to have read the series, though it does help for context and knowing who some characters are. Kezan and Ezra aren't featured in the other books though.

Kezan is a Djinn and his magic is quite different. He's adorable and just wants to be loved.

Ezra doesn't initially understand the draw towards Kezan since he's never been attracted to men but they find their way.

The magical oasis is a really cool touch. 

Full of the usual sweetness and meddling "
