Mars is in Vegas in his downtime to attend a car auction when he crosses paths with a young car thief, not once or twice, but three times. When Cam shows Mars how he is making ends meet to take care of his mother they find that Cam has information that could help with one of the FBI’s cases.
This story has constant action, with foot and car chases, and danger lurking immediately as Mars has to protect Cam. This romance occurs over only a few days, and it takes Mars a bit more time than Cam to admit that there is something more than just sex involved. I really enjoyed their interactions, both feeling admiration for the other, although I wish we learned more about each man and their backgrounds and we do get a sense of important factors that molded them. I could easily read more with these two, both Cam and Mars were likable and it was fun to see all of the Tac team members as well as some cameos from previous series helping out. Overall, another entertaining addition to this series.
