Adrian, Shey and Tyche are on their way to find Haru on the Isle of Stone, they need to get the god powers of Nightmare out of the dragon. But war is brewing, and someone is still hunting the minor gods intent on stealing their powers, and the intrepid quartet gets some help from familiar characters of the previous series (Godstone Saga).
Full of constant action and adventure, this story furthers the mission to save the minor gods but also the romantic storylines of Adrian and Haru, and Shey and Tyche. I really enjoyed the romance, the loyalty, the determination to save the gods and the kingdoms in jeopardy. This universe remains interesting, as introduced in the Godstone Saga, and the characters are all likable, with the characters committed to their love interests and an overall journey that the reader can root for good to overcome evil. The cliffhanger was a punch to the gut, the danger has increased and we can only wait for the author to write our heroes a stunning finale with an HEA for everyone please.
