Denver has a stalker, but is rescued one night by a stranger that can sign ASL and makes Denver have seriously unhinged and lusty thoughts. Archie has a tendency to hyperfixate, and right now his focus is Denver, so keeping Denver and getting rid of his stalker is the only thing that matters. 

The unusual ways Archie and Denver keep meeting up was fun and interesting (and steamy), definitely not your normal courtship. I really appreciated that the initial attraction between them actually builds into a deeper understanding of each other and has a foundation for feelings to grow. Even though we don’t get a super clear idea of the dark background for Archie’s family, we know that they are dangerous and their commitment to keep Denver safe is well within their wheelhouse. All of the supportive Deaf community of friends and Archie’s family make this story sweet even as there is constant danger lurking. I am invested in the series characters and want to read more, and I enjoyed Archie and Denver’s special connection that definitely gives HEA vibes.
