BOBBY MERRITT MEETS HIS MATCH is a second chance later in life romance. I am so sad this series is over but hopefully there will be another chance for these characters to pop up in other books as I just adore them. Overall, a really fantastic book, that I strongly recommend you to read!!

A second chance romance we all needed! Bobby is the heart of Goose Run and now we not only get to see how he ended up there but how he gets his second chance at the man who got away. Granger never expected to go back to Goose Run let alone find the man who he let go all those years ago. Loved to see Bobby and Lucille's backstory and get to know the man behind the legend that is Bobby Merritt. A perfect way to end a well rounded series of men finding their other halves.

Mixed in you get some extras of stories of the previous men both pre and post their stories. I couldn't be happier with this collection of short stories that were added to this final chapter of the Goose Run series.

We finally get Bobby's story!! I have been so immensely curious about Bobby's background ever since his character was first mentioned. His character has always been so eccentric and just himself, and now knowing his background, it's even more amazing that he has continued to help others' and is so full of life.

His and Granger's past isn't one that ends in happiness, unfortunately due to Granger not wanting to admit what him and Bobby were to each other, that led to them going seperate ways. Granger going back to the city to be an up and coming lawyer, and Bobby staying in Goose Run and well, running Goose Run.

Their story was so fantastic. I absolutely loved being able to read Bobby's POV, those chapters were my favorite, simply because I just adore Bobby's eccentric personality. He made me smile, and learning about how him and Lucille became a dynamic duo was so cool and cute!! I thought the romance between Granger and Bobby was there, perhaps a little rushed, but overall, I liked their story quite a bit. I wanted their story to be longer, I was fully ready to read a whole book full of their romance story, all that angst, and pining, and groveling, but their story was only about a quarter of the book. The rest of this lovely book was full of short stories featuring the other characters we have gotten to know and love and I LOVED getting to re-visit those characters once more.
