We are back in Hex, Indiana with Wren and Talon's story in HUNGRY FOR LOVE.
From the blurb:
Welcome to Hex, Indiana…
Wren
Banished. After doing everything asked of me and more since my wings glowed for the first time, I’m ejected from my home. All because I asked to be released from my courtesan contract that never should have been legal in the first place. I guess it’s time for me to find my true calling. Could it be working with the smoldering hot baker at Warwick’s Wicked Bakery? I’m not sure, but I know I’m going to find out.
Talon
Griffin shifters are supposed to be warriors. Guardians. But not me, I’m happy baking. For the most part. I get a little grouchy when a certain Fae courtesan comes in and messes up my clean space just for a snack. Wren needs to stay on the other side of the counter if he knows what’s good for him. And maybe I keep my eyes down when he comes in so I don’t have to look at his pretty face. Color me surprised when my boss tells me I’ll be working with Wren. Now, how do I keep him out of my way and out of my mind?
Can Wren burn down all of Talon’s walls or will the two dance around each other until the griffin runs away, taking Wren’s heart with him?
Hungry For Love is an MM paranormal romance featuring a grumpy griffin that just wants to bake and a banished Fae looking for his true calling.
Molly Otto's review:
It’s Wrens time to be free of the Fae Winter Court and start living life for himself in Hex with his brother and their found family. What Wren doesn’t anticipate is the harsh reality of losing all that he knew and built for himself. Talon, the quiet griffin shifter, who works at Wicky’s bakery judges Wren without really knowing him, until Wick hires Wren and allows the two to actually get to know one another. I highly enjoyed the slow pace these two took to develop their relationship to fit both of their paces. They allowed each other to really know the other, before taking the next major step in their courtship.
When Wren’s past doesn’t fully let him go, it takes Talon and other friends of Hex to step up and show Wren he is no longer alone. The stubbornness of this Fae, oh boy, do you get it, but at that same time you want to throttle him a little. Talon shows how beautiful of a mate he is when he shows his steadfastness and care for Wren in his time of need. This series will always have a special place in my heart, and this one sure doesn’t disappoint or take away that love.
