Dante is traded mid season when he's getting too good and his mentor doesn't like it, so starts enough rumors to ruin the young man's reputation. In Colorado, Dante is slowly accepted by his new team and coach Theron, a man who keeps his distance. When someone takes out their issues on Dante, Theron must choose protect the young man or keep him at the distance he's been trying to hold. This is one of those stories that keeps you in a chokehold from start to finish. Just hoping these two get their rightfully earned happiness. No lies at times I wanted to throttle Theron, yet I got his hangups and understood how Dante could forgive and move past, seeing as he was there when Dante needed him most. The rest of the team makes their fun appearances showing what a strong bonded team they are becoming. Such a great blend of hockey, magic and suspense, for those who love any of these tropes this a not to be missed read!
