CTRL+ALT+ORC is book 2 in the love at Labyrinth Solutions monster series from MA WARDELL. This is a grumpy sunshine human orc office pairing. I think this has just become one of my favorite books of the year! It's so cute, well written, and the characters are just fantastic!

I've been seeing this book everywhere lately on socials, so when I saw the opportunity arise to read a copy of this book early, I had to do so! I'm not super familiar with MA Wardell's writing, I have a bunch of their books on my TBR but have only been able to read one other book of theirs so far, until now.
This amazing story is about Greg, an IT specialist and a magician when it comes ro wrangling unruly computer systems, repairing computers that "just fell off the desk", and fixing crooked cupboard doors, among other things. And this story is also about the new guy who just got hired, Sean, who seems a bit overwhelmed at first but quickly settles in. Although, his computer seems to have a vendetta against him, but that's where the romance between these two start building!!
This book is absolutely fantastic, honestly, I have no notes. The writing was engaging, witty, funny, detailed, and I love how the author wasn't afraid to go all in with the tech related details and information. I really enjoyed how the writing had a comedic undertone to it, that made the whole reading experience so much more enjoyable for me. The characters themselves are absolutely amazing as well, I like how different they are from each other and yet somehow work/fit together do well. They truly are each other's person!
All the witty banter, along with the comedic and flirty dialogue these characters had, really helped portray their chemistry and how they had sparks from the very first conversation. The artwork for this book is what caught my eye, the blurb is what intrigued me enough to want to read it, and the writing, along with the characters is why I ended up loving it.
If you're looking for a low-angst, fated mates (ish), forced proximity, workplace romance, and want to read about adorable pizza dates, then you should absolutely read this book!

This is definitely one of those laugh out reads that has you giggling from start to finish. Sean begins working for Labyrinth Solutions as the new assistant for Mr Frost and isn't quite ready for the chaos that is office work. Greg is an IT specialist who has a way of bringing calm to the never ending technology issues that is the office. from the getgo Sean and technology are not friends making it perfect for him and Greg to begin their budding friendship. Their banter is top notch and you just get that they will last as a couple, pair with amazing chemistry and dang perfect couple for each other. With a brilliant cast of side characters you know this series has the potential for many fun paitongs in the future. Loved that the human was the grumpy one in this dynamic and the orc is the sunshine, often times ive read the opposite and was nice to be seen done inthe reverse.
