BOOTYLICIOUS is apart of the Legends multi author cryptid and human pairing series. I have never read a book about a Bigfoot or Cryptids before now, and I gave to say, I'm intrigued!

From the very moment you meet Boone, big foot, you feel his loneliness and want for Elias the researcher who comes back to his mountains each spring. Elias is a breath of fresh air, and joy that Boone cannot help but be drawn to each year. The beauty of this writing is next level; you feel the longing and want and know when he allows himself to be seen by this beautiful human for the first time. Boone's reluctance to allow Elias truly in you feel, yet Elias at every single turn shows him he will stay with him no matter what, yes, it will take time, but their bond is unwavering and strong. Their love story shows no matter who or what you are or what you may appear as to the outside world deserves to find that partner who truly sees you for who you are. The side characters and antics of their network draws you further into this world and makes you want more and to see how these other cryptids find their mate. Seriously though the group chats are awesome and so frigging fun and bring a fun lightness to the series.
Boone and Elias were such a delight to read about!! I've never read a Bigfoot story before so when I saw this one pop up, I knew I had to read it! I'm so glad I did, this story was so much fun to read, I was smiling and struggling with not laughing out loud almost the whole time I was reading this. It was just so enjoyable to read and the characters were extraordinary! I loved the banter between these two and how they have an easy connection with each other. They might have started off as strangers, but that quickly evolved into something deeper, into something both of them were surprised by. Something like love, and possibly forever..
The world building was also really great, I enjoyed reading about Elias and Boone trying to protect the forest and research animals and plants. Oh! And the pesky squirrel who adopted Boone was so adorable!
All in all, a really great book and this has made me want to read the other books in this series!
