I've been highly anticipating reading this story ever since it was first announced, it just sounded way too good to pass on. Plus, the cover is absolutely gorgeous!!
The story itself was brilliant! Den of Paradise is about Caine and Dylan, one is an Alpha and the elite of all the elites in the upper class society, and the other an omega who struggles to put food on the table and finding a place that would hire him. They are from two completely different worlds but somehow they find a way to make things work.. Eventually that is. They had a long road before they got to that point, lots of jabs, sharp barbs, slamming doors, avoidance, and Caine trying to boss Dylan around even though that was never going to work in his favor.
This story is full of angst, and has a definite enemies to lovers vibe that runs through almost the whole story. It takes them a while to admit their true feelings about each other but when they did.. Let's just say that scene was so heartfelt and beautiful! It also showed a different side to Caine, a softer more emotionally attuned guy rather than his normal aloof and cold persona he often presents himself as.
I thought this was written really well and I found Minnie to be absolutely precious! She was so adorable! I thought the plot was really well written, the culprit behind everything was a total shock in the best way! Eryn did a really good job with keeping that a surprise.
All in all a really fantastic enemies to lovers omegaverse book!
