The Shtriga (The Sanctuary Book 3) by Stella Rainbow

What would you do if you found your mate while drunk? Or said mate had a whole pack of animals? Well, if you'd like to find out what Zamir did in that situation, read this today!

From the blurb:

Two fated mates. One deadly need. Is this their ending…or the beginning of forever?

Zamir
The Sanctuary gave me a home, and the ability to survive without killing like the rest of my kind. Life was good… until all my friends started finding their mates.
I thought I could drown my loneliness in alcohol, but instead, I found him: the ancient, impossibly hot dragon who owns the bar…and who happens to be my mate.

Nolan
Centuries of life gave me everything: knowledge, adventure, memories, and took everything away. Again and again, I lost the people I loved, until I had nothing left to give.
Then Zamir walked into my life: sweet, kind, and gentle enough to make me feel again. I thought maybe, just maybe, I could open my heart again. Until he collapsed in my arms, reminding me why I’d sworn to keep it closed.

The Shtriga is an MM paranormal romance featuring a reluctant shtriga who hates feeding but must to survive, a weary dragon who can’t bear to lose love again, fated mates, soft hurt/comfort, tender magical moments, dragon cuddles, Sanctuary shenanigans, and a whole crew of furbabies (dogs, cats, chickens, and more!)

Angel's review:

When I start a Stella Rainbow book, I know that I'm in for a fluffy romance that has serious themes/topic matter but handled with care and almost from a lighter perspective... I know that what I'm reading is going to have a guaranteed happily ever after, and that's exactly what I got with Zamir and Nolan!!

I thought this book was really interesting! I've adored the concept of The Sanctuary ever since the first book, but I also love how creative Stella has gotten with the residents of The Sanctuary. Before reading about Zamir, I had never read about a Shtriga before, it was completely new and unique to me!

I also adored how big of a role all of Nolan's furry and feathered family members were and how important they became to Zamir as well. I thought this was a cute story overall and I'm looking forward to knowing what's going on between Zephyr and Keoni!!
