This book is amazing from start to finish!! It really is important that you’ve read books one and two before tackling His Bonded Omega Mate.
From the blurb:
Life in Sweetwater was supposed to be a fresh start for Roan. A new family, friends, and an important job. However, remaining behind during the beta sickness put a target on his back. While fighting for his life, he happens upon his fated mate, but there's a complication. He's emotionally bonded to two betas and wants Roan to accept the three of them.
Time is running out for Hiroshi. He must find his fated mate before he is forced into an arranged marriage with an alpha known for not taking no as an answer. With the goddess on his side, he meets Roan, his fated mate and an alpha that seems willing to give their unconventional mating a try.
There are unforeseen consequences for shifter kind when the four try to bond that could change things forever.
His Bonded Omega Mate is book #3 of the Sweetwater Pack series and should be read in order. This book is slightly darker than the previous two, with more instances of violence and some off page, though discussed on page, coerced consent. While there is MMMM content, this is not a poly romance for Roan. In this series, men can carry babies and also lactate.
Lori C's review:
Performance: Jamal Roque continues to deliver a great vocal performance. His voice for Hiro is clever. It truly is as flighty and silly as I imagined it would be while still being cool and collected when necessary. The story is just as captivating listening as an audiobook as it is when I read it on my own. As a lover of this series, I can say that I am looking forward to each new audiobook as they come out.
Story: This story became so much more than I expected. I don’t want to give even a piece of it away. There is so much to love about each of these men: Roan, Hiroshi, Ash, and Tate. Their relationships are worth fighting for as a friend, as a lover, and as a chosen family member. As for the rest of the story, I love this Sweetwater Pack!! I am enchanted with this world of shifters, magic, elves, and demons. This is on my list of favorite series to reread!
Lesetiger's review:
His Bonded Omega Mate is the third volume in the Sweetwater Pack series, which should be read in order, as the narrative spans the entire series.
As always, the writing style is wonderful and very captivating, just as one has come to expect from the author.
This time, the story centers on Roan, Ash, Tate, and Hiroshi, who share interesting yet very different connections and relationships. The plot also unfolds differently than expected, and some of the developments took me by surprise—but I don’t want to give too much away. And really, it’s no wonder that with four people, not everyone feels the same way, since the relationships between them are very complex. However, the four of them work together to get a handle on the difficulties.
I loved that the story was told from the perspective of all four protagonists. Plus, the internal struggles felt very realistic. As I mentioned, the plot itself was gripping, and there were some passionate scenes, drama, and plenty of intrigue.
Jamal Roque narrated the audiobook, just as he did for the first two volumes. He did a fantastic job. I think every character sounds different, and I could easily tell them apart. He portrayed Hiro really well, switching between funny and serious depending on the mood. It was a pleasure to listen to him.
I’m really excited to see how the story continues!
His Bonded Omega Mate is currently available as an audiobook, e-book and paperback, and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
