Covering Comms (Nanio Online Book 2) by Toby Wise

COVERING COMMS is book two of the Nanio Online universe from Toby Wise.

From the blurb:

AITA for barking at someone because I liked their voice…

Rodney is the type of guy who doesn’t think before he speaks. In normal circumstances, he doesn’t mind his lack of brain to mouth filter, until he starts thirsting after a stranger in the same gaming lobby.

Gayle is a single dad who’s almost forty, has a broken mating bite, and plays video games for a living. He’s not what he would describe as a catch. Apparently, Rodney didn’t get that memo.

What starts as two strangers playing the same video game, morphs into so much more when the two meet for a video chat and then later in person. Streaming, feathers, and trans joy aren't the only things these two have in common, but it’s a great place to start.

Covering Comms is a t4t MM romance and book two in the Nanio Online series. Inside this paranormal world you’ll find two streamers meeting in the silliest way. There’s laugh out loud moments, found family, a teenage son who ships them, nesting, heated video calls, a trans swan maiden, a ftm alpha shifter, a single dad, a meddling Chat, a faulty mute button, and of course, a Toby Approved Happily Ever After!

Molly Otto's review:

All of the trans joy and rep one can hope for in a sweet romance! Rodney accidentally doesn't' mute his mic in a livestream, leaving Snow (Gayle) hearing every last word, what starts with embarrassment quickly blossoms to intrigue. A chance in person meeting leaves both men questioning could this be real and not just online banter. Their story is so dang swoon worthy! With a sassy sixteen-year-old son Calloway to encourage his dads reentering the dating world, besties who shamelessly taunt to encourage leaving you smiling. Am absolutely adoring the family dynamics of this found pack and how they let more in and show how well they all work together. Love how yes both leads are trans they have completely different stories and needs, showing the diversity of trans culture, thank you Toby for showing us more than a one size fits all trans representation. With our favorite resident alpha Kei up next we are sure in for another treat. I seriously cannot get enough of this series.
