Welcome back to Spellbound where a demon researcher only knows how to work and gets immediately distracted by a cheerful fairy sent over from the Charmed Away Temp Agency. Can Peri show Wash that there's more to life than work? Team building for the win!
From The Demon's Attendant blurb:
Wash was getting seriously tired of upper management trying to butt into his personal life. He didn't have a problem with his work-life balance… that they could prove anyway. So when they send in a new temp to assist the research floor, he’s determined to ignore them. Except, they just happened to send the sweetest temp known to all species, who plies him with sweets and pretty smiles, and for some reason, that temp won’t take the hint that he doesn’t need help. He seems sincere enough. There shouldn’t be a reason not to explore things a little, as long as upper management didn’t find out. Right?
Peri never thought he’d meet his match while on a temp assignment. The grumpy demon from research was handsome, smart, protective, and in serious need of a vacation. When Taron asks for help getting Wash to relax, Peri leaps at the chance to spend more time with the demon. It wouldn’t hurt anyone to have a little back up when claiming his man. Right?

SNik's review:
Sixth in series (The Charmed Away Temp Agency), best if read in order. Paranormal. Coworkers. Grumpy/sunshine. Hurt/comfort. Found family. Dual POV.
Peri’s new temp job has him crossing paths with a grumpy demon researcher that really needs help with his work-life balance. Wash doesn’t trust easily, but the always cheerful, slightly horny, and super empathic fairy might just be the person to break down his walls.
This story has a true grumpy/sunshine dynamic with all the feels. Wash is a protective demon that’s had a difficult past but a good heart and Peri is everything kind, generous and joyful, and I really enjoyed every moment they were on page together. There are plenty of caring friends and family to surround the sweetness of Peri and Wash, with an equal amount of steam between these two meant-to-be mates. I personally like an emotional character that deserves all the HEA when they find that special someone that gets them in every way. Another terrific addition to this fun and fantastic series.
