A cute and fun holiday romance book full of characters we've met before, along with some new ones!
From the blurb:
One secret Santa. Two lonely hearts. And a Christmas spent tearing down walls to let love in.
Jason Harker: I’ll admit it—I can be a little nosy. When you live alone in a town as small and close-knit as Belleville, other people’s stories have a way of filling the quiet. So when I find newcomer, Joe Milton, in the alley behind my store, cradling a bird like it might break his heart to let go, I make it my mission to befriend the enigmatic man. Only problem? Now the whole town thinks I’ve got a thing for Joe. Me? With a crush? On a man? No. That’s… definitely not happening. Probably. Maybe. But the more I try to prove to everyone that Joe and I are just friends, the more this surly, adorable man starts feeling like the best Christmas present I never asked for.
Joe Milton: Moving to a new town to start an apple farm? Ambitious. Trying to renovate a crumbling house by myself before my family arrives for Christmas? Possibly delusional. And just when I’m about to lose all hope and sanity, a secret Santa steps in to save me. But it’s his so-called elf helper who really catches me off guard. Jason Harker is kind, charming, and makes my heart race faster than my impending renovation deadline. This new friendship and the swirl of confusing feelings make me wonder if this Christmas might mend more than just this old house.
Snowy Skies and Puppy Eyes is a standalone Holiday MM romance with high heat, a HEA, and no cliffhangers. Includes a dislike-to-friends-to-lovers romance between a secret millionaire and a grumpy apple farmer. Together these two are tooth-achingly sweet. If you like heartfelt stories with holiday magic, positive mental health rep, graphic steam, and the slowest, sweetest of all burns then read on!

Angel's review:
Jason and Joe's story is packed full of so much sugary sweetness, holiday cheer, acceptance, found family, fun animal facts, and of course, love. These two may seem as though they would be incompatible, but things aren't always as they seem. Both of these men are vastly different from each other but that's what makes them work so well together. Jason is more organized, chatty, social, and a bit more dominant, whereas Joe is a bit grumpier, slightly chaotic, and very shy. (Trust me I can relate to the shy part!) But then being different actually compliments them and their relationship in the best way, when one struggles with something the other is there to step in and help.
I love the fact that Jason never gave up on trying to get to know Joe, even when Joe kept avoiding him and ignoring him, he never gave up on pursuing him. He was bound and determined to get to know the new Belleville transplant.
Sweet, sweet, Joe is just adorable. Honestly there isn't a better word to describe him other than adorable, oh, and precious. His character, his whole persona, was just syrupy sweet. He came off as a grump at first but as the story progressed we got to see a different side to his character. One that behaves very similarly to a puppy...
I really enjoyed this story, I liked how both of these men were experiencing new things and experiences together, they were creating new memories that would last a lifetime which was really beautiful. I also love the found family component as well, and the last 5 chapters of the book were my favorite! I just love how determined Joe was to give Jason a Christmas he'll never forget and cherish for years to come.
The part in this book where Joe's thinking about how s*x was never important to him and how he skips past any s3xy times in movies/shows because he doesn't like watching that was something I can relate to. I read that paragraph and was like "Hey, that's me!", I like it when a character is relatable and both Joe and Jason had relatable traits and characteristics.
I immensely enjoyed getting to see characters from other books make appearances in this story, that was so much fun seeing them again! I'm elated we were able to visit Belleville once more and I'm looking forward to seeing what Fae writes next!!
