Christmas On Cosmic Avenue by Garrett Leigh

A new holiday story from Garrett Leigh, always swoony and emotional with a touch of the holiday sweetness. Sab wants to explore his attraction to men, but when his neighbor signs up to be his hands-on wingman they both start to fall.

From the blurb:

When single dad Sab Dubois downloads a swingers app, it’s meant to be a bit of harmless curiosity—until his gorgeous neighbour catches him in the act and makes him an offer he can’t refuse.

Galen McCarthy, the firefighter over the back fence, doesn’t do love or relationships—and he certainly doesn’t do forever. Coaching his flustered neighbour through some first-time exploration seems easy enough.

No strings. No expectations.

No hearts on the line.

But when fate has Galen fighting for his life for the third Christmas running, everything he didn’t know he wanted comes rushing into focus—the man who fed and healed him, the little lady he adores, and the family he never knew he needed.

Because love doesn’t ask permission.

It steals your heart and wraps it in fairy lights.

It forgives your fears and guides you home…

To Christmas on Cosmic Avenue.

Christmas on Cosmic Avenue is a medium-spice, emotional MM romance about first times, found family, and finding your way home—just in time for Christmas.

Expect: neighbours-to-lovers, first times/sexual discovery, single dad × wounded firefighter, angst, addiction recovery/healing, found family, and the most perfect Christmas happily ever after.

SNik's review:

Holiday standalone. Neighbors. Single dad. Hurt/comfort. Dual POV. Heed content warnings.

Sab is a dedicated single dad and loving brother that is interested in exploring his attraction to men when he meets his sexy firefighter neighbor Galen. It doesn’t take a player like Galen a second thought to offer some advice to Sab, and maybe some hands on experience, but neither man expects that strong connection that happens.

This was such a beautifully written story of two men slowly falling into a relationship where they can’t imagine being with anyone else and don’t want to give each other up. There is miscommunication which is a bummer, but the yearning for each other and the ease in which they become closer was a wonderful read. If you have read any of Garrett Leigh’s past holiday stories, some of the side characters will be familiar, welcome and supportive. Both Galen and Sab have had difficult pasts and overcome on their own so they are strong characters that are sensitive and fiercely loving and I really enjoyed their love story.
