Killian is a feared Alpha professor that has pheromones that easily overwhelm, but for some reason everything about him soothes Chase. When Chase puts himself in Killian's orbit, the Alpha agrees to one night, but there’s something about the beta that has Killian wanting more.
This is a high steam, seriously sweet story, with a beta that some take for granted (not his close friends) and an Alpha that sees the beta’s true worth. Chase and Killian fulfill each other’s needs so well, and although we don’t see it all on page they learn and appreciate each other beyond the bedroom. It is special that Killian is able to give Chase all the possessiveness and wanting he has been lacking, and Killian never falters once he finds himself falling for the younger man. A fantastic addition to this really entertaining series.

I loved this book. My favorite of the series so far! Chase and Killian were so good together. I loved the way they fell for each other. Poor Chase though not knowing how to be loved. I felt so bad for him but understood. The ending was so good!! I loved when Killian stood up to Chase's parents.

The first book in this series I absolutely loved, so when I heard that book two was about to release I was ecstatic! Especially because there were definite vibes between Chase and his Professor during the first book. If you high heat and high spice this book is going to be for you, the majority of this book is spicy times between the two MC's which isn't MY favorite, however, I did enjoy other parts of this book.
Specifically the last half of the book, that's when more of an emotional connection formed between Killian and Chase and that's when you really started seeing that they cared for each other way more than just a hookup. Something else I enjoyed was the bond Chase, Spencer and Noah have together, the chapters where all three of them were together was my absolute favorite! It's so delightful reading about their comfortability with each other and how they bicker and banter and tease. You can tell that they got each other's backs and I love how their relationship was represented!
Killian's friends were also hilarious to read about, Devon and Prince were absolutely fantastic! You could tell they truly cared for Killian, but that didn't stop them from teasing and playfully taunting him.
All in all I thought this was a good book, I'm so glad Killian broke through Chase's walls! Chase needs to be showered in love, and now he is!
I'm sooo excited for Spencer's story, I've been hoping he'd get his own book since he was introduced in Noah's book. I can sense his book is going to be slightly chaotic in the best way and I'm here for it.
