It's lovely to revisit Crofton Hall and check in on how things are going and Christmas is a great time to do it! Rebecca Cohen gives us tastes of life in various eras, with different couples all set in the past, present and future of Crofton Hall. I will say that I broke up my reading of this book into a few sittings because I wanted to savour before moving on, and it felt a little overwhelming to read in a sitting.
If you haven't read any of the series but want to get a taste of what life is like at Crofton Hall, this could be a fun way to do so. For those of us invested in the hall and it's stories, it was a lovely gift.
