CATCH is the kick off for the Sutton U Crew team series from Ava Olsen. This is a bi awakening acquaintances to more college age romance.
From the blurb:
Jett
I don’t talk about my past, and I don’t fall for straight guys.
Finding out that my college boyfriend is cheating on me isn’t the way I planned to start the fall semester. My distraction? A friendly competition with my rowing teammates, the Sutton U Crew, vs the hockey team. Until I’m faced with Ethan Walker, a cocky forward and notorious frat boy. The guy’s a smug player—in every sense of the word. I thought he was straight, but everywhere I go, there he is. I’m fast, but he’s relentless.
And I have no idea what I’m going to do when he catches me.
Ethan
I’m not catching feelings for anyone, never mind a guy.
College is all about good times, flirty games, and of course, hockey. Until I meet Jett, a rower who never met a competition he couldn’t beat. Something about his smart mouth and sad eyes sets me off like nothing else. I can’t stop thinking about what it would be like to kiss him, but since when am I into guys? Every time we’re near each other, though, the pull between us gets more intense. It’s not that I want Jett; I need to own him.
And once I catch him? I’m not letting go.
Catch is a bi awakening MM sports romance that contains cheating, but not between MC's.
Molly Otto's review:
Was nice to see a college romance that included Rowing as a sport vs just the 'mainstream' popular sports. Yes on of the players is a hockey player, but the other is just as dedicated to his sport of rowing. Both men love their sport and work hard at achieving the highest levels they are able to obtain. Jett & Ethan are two of those characters that are similar yet so completely different in how they take things it was fun to see how they meshed together. Their banter was that right amount to get why they worked and the spice was right amount for their story. It didn't feel over the top but felt right for the characters. It was fun catching up with previous characters to see how their lives are working out, while getting to know the men of the Crew team more. With a start like this it will be fun to see what comes next from this universe.

Hockey meets Rowing! Sparks fly! This is a fun continuation of the Sutton U series and bridges the previous hockey series with a new group of college men destined to find their guys! I really enjoyed watching the rivalry, the posturing and also the bi awakening as Ethan falls for Jett! This was a fast paced read with great banter and just enough angst as Jett starts to recover from his past hurts with Ethan's help.
I can't wait to see where the series takes us and hope to continue to see pop ins from previous Sutton U couples.
