Lesetiger's review:

How do you say goodbye to a beloved couple after a total of eight volumes? Preferably not at all, but Aslan and Quaid get their well-deserved end as parents and couldn't be happier. And me? I'm super sad that this fantastic series has come to an end.

I can only recommend listening to all the volumes with Aslan and Quaid. The two of them have grown into a great couple and have developed enormously. They are there for each other and support each other. And they fulfill their greatest wish: they become parents.

With the birth already in sight, Quaid works on a case that has frighteningly close parallels to his childhood. A father comes to the police station, his son has disappeared. And while the parents are lost in grief, the missing child's sister is simply missing out. For Quaid, the case quickly becomes personal and he does everything he can to find the boy. He encounters an extremely toxic family situation and a race against time begins.

I found the case interesting, exciting and captivating from start to finish. The tension is kept high and I was excited right to the end. I love Aslan and Quaid! They are both super likeable and have a great dynamic, both professionally and personally. What I also really enjoyed was witnessing Quaid and Costa's friendship.

Nick J. Russo took a terrific story and made it shine even more with his narration. It was an absolute pleasure to listen to Nick bring the story to life with his performance. Chapeau, that was brilliant!
