We're back at the Hard Spot Saloon for the second book in Raleigh Reuben's new series.
From the Hot Ice, Tennessee blurb:
Even after I learn his secret.
Jesse is cocky, tattooed, and even more possessive off the ice.
…He’s also my friend’s younger brother. Found that out like a puck to the face.
He’s college hockey royalty, but my world’s different. Simple.
I spend my days outside on my ranch riding horses, and my nights at the local saloon, trying to forget my past.
But Jesse’s used to getting what he wants.
And he’s decided he wants me.
I can’t want him. I don’t. He’s too young, even if he commands me like no one else can.
But my first time with a hockey player lit a fire in me, too.
His possessive streak keeps coming out, and he’s telling me that I’m his.
And when I’m with him, I can’t stop saying it, too:
Yours.
Heather's Review:
This book has all my catnip... age gap, with a dominant younger man, hurt/comfort, best friend's brother, sports and more! It had great pacing - with a slow build to high heat! The characters were relatable and well written and the whole package made for a quick and lovely read!
I really enjoyed getting to know Jesse and Mason and look forward to even more stories from the Hard Spot Saloon. This book can be read standalone but does feature side characters who were in book 1.
Hot Ice, Tennessee is currently available as an e-book and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited subscription.
