Alpha & Omega (Alpha's Rejects Book 4) by Courtney W. Dixon

Everything you expect from Courtney W. Dixon all in one place. If you want something angsty then this is the book for you. Tons of struggle, feelings and supportive family wrap around a special pair of guys - a single dad chef and a skateboarding bar owner.

From the blurb:

I’m stubborn, but even I can admit I need help from my family and Harley.

** Not a Shifter/Omegaverse **

Omega (Harley)

Hudson’s mother abandoned us six years ago, leaving me to pick up the pieces of my son’s distraught heart. With therapy and hard work, life is good. I’m the chef and owner of a successful restaurant, and Hudson is thriving. Now I want to date. After meeting Kingston McLaren on a dating app, we hit it off immediately. However, I make the mistake of overstepping my bounds, causing a rift between us. I refuse to let this be the end of us, so I’ll fix this in any way I can. But when Kingston’s world suddenly crumbles, I’ll do whatever it takes to put it back together. It’s time someone took care of him.

Alpha (Kingston)

My family of Rejects and my bar are everything to me. Since they've been finding love, they're convinced I need a love intervention of my own. To get them off my back, I met Harley Creed through a dating app, and we meshed perfectly. But when Harley butts his nose where it doesn’t belong, I’m over it. Alpha’s Rejects Bar is mine, and no one will get in the way of that. Harley is determined to fix things, though, and my heart never stood a chance. But life is good at kicking you in the balls just when you see a light at the end of the tunnel. Now it’s much more than my heart on the line.

This book is the fourth in a series, but like all my books, it can be read as a standalone.

Thera Rhodes review:

Alpha and Omega is everything you expect from a Courtney novel. It was swoony, spicy, and of course, angsty. I really enjoyed the story even the angsty plot twist. It was very well written.

SNik's review:

Fourth and finale in series (Alpha & Omega), can be read as a standalone but might be more fun if read in order. Single dad. Hurt/comfort. Found family. Dual POV. Heed content warnings.

In the midst of his financial struggles and helping out his found family, bar owner and skateboarder Kingston is encouraged to date and find some time for himself. Enter a match with single dad, chef and restaurant owner Harley where these two share an instant connection and both have hopes of building forever kind of feelings.

I was immediately invested in Harley and Kingston, both of them were so likable, compassionate, self-sacrificing, and shared honest and open communication with each other that was meaningful. Of course there was plenty of spice, and both Harley and Kingston have been put through the wringer in their lives, but they have real and found family that are super supportive and important to them. I really enjoyed every moment Harley and Kingston were on page together, the romance, the commitment, the feelings and their ability to risk their hearts for someone special to them. Really sad to see this series end.

Alpha & Omega is currently available as an e-book and paperback
