Redeeming Bosely is the exciting conclusion to Sammi Cee's Devils Deal Duology. Will Cory accept Romeo's ties to a local mafia family and be willing to build a future together?
From the blurb:
Sometimes you have to make deals with the devil to save the people you love.
Cory is changing my life. My quirky boy. So opposite of me in every way. Sweet and vulnerable, he’s willing to wear his heart on his sleeve. He’s willing to accept who I am—what I am—so I won’t fail him.
Now his worries are mine. His found family is mine. Mine to shelter. Mine to protect.
To do that, I’ll make another deal with the devil. One that will draw me out of the shadows to align me with a crime Family. They’ll give me the soldiers and resources to give my Cory answers, and hopefully, get his remaining family member back.
I’m playing a dangerous game. One I’m determined to win. No matter the cost. Because I’ll do anything for my boy. Anything to keep him by my side.
~~Redeeming Bosely is book 2 of the Devil's Deal Duology. Same couple and follows directly after book 1, Filling The Void.~~
Molly Otto's review:
That right conclusion of the Devils Deal Duology as an introduction into the darker side of Takoda. You still get the feels you expect from Sammi with a twist of morally gray characters to add intrigue. Enjoyed meeting each of these characters and am looking forward to see what Sammi has in store for us this darker side of the Takoda world we have all come to know and love.
SNik's review:
Second in duology (Devil’s Deal), must be read in order. Mature characters. Established relationship. Daddy/boy. Found family. Quick read. Dual POV.
Picking up immediately after the events of the first book, hotel owner Cory and hitman Romeo are surrounded by their found family, negotiating their status with the Buccelli family and searching for Cory’s missing nephew. At this point Cory and Romeo are committed to their Daddy/boy relationship and their honest communication and planning for the future together was absolutely a great conclusion for this duology.
I really enjoyed anytime Cory and Romeo were on page together, whether it was steamy or sweet. I do look forward to any possible future stories that may come out of this duet as all the secondary characters were interesting and any glimpses into Cory and Romeo’s future adventures would be fun.
Heather's Review:
For me this felt like an extended epilogue rather than a full second novel in the duology. It picks up where we left off from the first book and continues to explore Cory and Romeo's lives, but their romance is already pretty solid, so it fleshes out their long term plans and gives us hints as to where future books on this new darker side of Takoda may be heading... It was interesting to see the relationship dynamic continue and also see what was happening with many of our favourite side characters. That being said, it was a quick read and a great way to catch up with the whole group of characters.
