Two friends that find that the timing could finally be right for them to try for something more. A sweet and spicy addition to the Tinsel and Tentacles 2.0 series with a connection to K.C. Carmine's Tentacled Christmas series as well.
From the Tentacles All the Way blurb:
A crush on his best friend.
A secret awakening.
A month in snow-covered New York.
How to spend magical Christmas time with a bestie without falling in love?
Marinos:
How do I come out as pan to my gay best friend without making my crush on him weird?
The reason for my pan-awakening was coming over for Christmas. That’s right, my bestie from art college in Germany was going to stay with me for six weeks. Not only would it be a test of my resolve not to crawl into his bed, but he’d see my life as a failed artist in NYC.
He’s not aware that I know his secret and that I’ve been obsessed with finding out what he likes in bed and how I could give it to him. I should have hated it. Instead, I’ve found out I have more in common with my kinky krampus friend than I’d ever thought.
Kert:
Five years of heart eyes for my Greek tentacled God of a roommate, then four more of us keeping in touch long-distance. Now, I was going to visit him, spend my favorite holiday in magical New York City, and cure myself once and for all from dreaming Marin would wrap his tentacles around me in more than a friendly hug.
I was out and proud, but he didn’t know what I liked in bed, and I’d have to keep it a secret. That, and my rise to fame in Germany as an up-and-coming sculptor of the year.
I geared myself up for weeks of hiding my feelings from my best friend in the name of our friendship. but I heavily underestimated the power Marin’s tentacles, his scent, and his presence would have on me.
Was I doomed to fail?

Standalone book 2 of Tentacled Christmas series (see book 1: Tentacles Rock)
Low angst, high steam.
Tentacles All the Way is part of the Tinsel and Tentacles season 2 multi-author collaboration and a complete standalone.
SNik's review:
Part of a multi-author series (Tinsel and Tentacles 2.0), but can be read as a standalone. Paranormal. Best friends to lovers. Quick read. Dual POV. Heed content warnings.
Visiting his best friend and former university roommate for the holidays, Kert is hoping to finally get over his longtime crush, but being with Marin feels different this time. Marin wants to tell Kert that he wants more for their relationship, and about his long held feelings for something more, but he’s not sure if Kert is willing to uproot his life so that they can be together.
This story was equal parts sweet and spicy, Kert and Marin’s friendship really shines through since they have many years of friendship before they try to make the leap to intimacy. I really enjoyed how close they were, how well they knew each other and how easily they built a new dynamic.
GreenwingReads review:
This is the second book Carmine has contributed to the on-going multi-author Tentacled Christmas series, now in its second season. Last year, we met Ner in Florida. This year, we meet his younger brother, Marin, in NYC.
Just like last year, Carmine delivers both romance and spice with plenty of...appendages.
Marin, a cephalopod shifter, is best friend's with Kert, a krampus. Both are artists and went to art school together. They've always had a close relationship, but there are things they kept from each other, most important being their feelings for one another.
After being on opposite sides of the Atlantic for a few years, they reunite when Kert comes to NYC for a visit and a taste of the Big Apple at Christmas.
This is a sweet romance between two rather oblivious best friends with a heavy dose of steam that I've come to associate with Carmine's books (read the TWs to make sure the spice is right for you).
Tentacles All the Way is currently available as an e-book and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
