Book 4 in the Clair de la Lune AU serial begins right where book 3 left off, with Cecil in the hospital and a Soyer who is quite reluctant to involve himself once again in one of Cecil's messes.
From the blurb:
Soyer wanted a new life, a fresh start, but his past is proving tenacious.
In Amory, Soyer has found someone he can’t imagine letting go. After getting snowed in together, no one and nothing should be able to come between them, but things aren’t quite that simple, not in the small town that is Clair de la Lune.
But no matter what, Soyer will fight to keep Amory. The only question is, will Amory want to be kept?
Ink & Moonlight follows the events of Ink & Snow, Ink & Flowers, and Ink & Sleigh Rides which should be read first.

Gahhh the ending of this one!! Naughty Alexa! They are killing me with these mini cliffys, but that just shows you how much I am enjoying these little novellas. Every ending has me dying for the next one! There is a ton of cuteness in this one with Soyer and Amory being snowed in. I love how Amory doesn't let Soyer be too serious all the time. He convinces him to do more than hide away and Soyer usually always has a good time in the end. It may just be because Amory is present, but I'm still calling that a win.
If you were hoping book 3 was the last we see of Cecil you will be disappointed my friends, however I think it was intriguing how things played out. Like Soyer, I'm skeptical, but also kind of believe Cecil. Maybe this version of him won't be an evil son of a bitch. Anything is possible in an AU!
We make it all the way to just before the big town tree competition before we have to wait for the next book. I didn't know if Amory's team with Soyer added had a chance at beating the mayor's smart tactics, but I'm even more uncertain now after that ending! I'm crossing my fingers book 5 ends up on my kindle very soon because like finishing every other novella in this series, I need to know what happens next!!
Ink & Moonlight is currently available as an e-book
