Frost Impressions (Christmas Falls: Season 2) by Kelly Fox

Welcome to Christmas Falls Kelly Fox! So happy to have you here to introduce us to Sunny & Gray in Frost Impressions a real grumpy/sunshine couple.

From the Frost Impressions blurb:

Living in a town named Christmas Falls with a name like Gray Frost, you'd think I loved Christmas.

On the contrary, I'd rather get a root canal than participate in anything remotely festive. Yet here I am—running the regional airport for commuter airlines and rich guys who have nothing better to do than fly in for the season.

Just today, I picked a fight with a pilot—the wealthy and wickedly attractive Sunny Day. He's as irritatingly cheerful as his name would suggest, even when his plane breaks down. He's a little less bright when he realizes I have the only spare bed in town.

The only point in his favor is that he hates Christmas as much as I do. When I find out what stole his joy, though, I have to wonder if the town's charms can give him back the love he once had for the holiday.

Christmas Falls: Season 2 revisits a small town that thrives on enough holiday charm to rival any Hallmark movie. It's a multi-author M/M romance series.

Molly Otto's review:

Don't judge a person by your first impression they may be the person to change everything. Sunny decided to fly to Christmas Falls to see what small town life is like and maybe find peace. With a not so great entrance, he meets the town grump Gray, who throws him off. Gray is one of those people who is unabashedly himself, and once you see him for who he is, you can not help but love every part of him. When the walls come down, these two show who they really are and how they perfectly compliment one another. Kelly Fox has found a way to make serious phobias lightly to show that with the right people in your corner, you can fly. Her work has seamlessly tied in with the other authors, where you can't help but ask where she was last season. Absolutely adored all the characters and the fun that is the town of Christmas Falls.

SNik's review:

Part of a multi-author series (Christmas Falls: Season 2), but can be read as a standalone. Grumpy/sunshine. Dual POV.

Running the local airport for a town that celebrates Christmas all year long, Gray doesn’t even like Christmas and coming across as a massive jerk in a first impression is kind of his thing. Sunny is a wealthy tech bro that almost crashes into Gray’s life, and there’s something about the grumpy guy that’s hiding a heat of gold that Sunny can’t resist.

I really appreciated that Sunny did not let anything Gray said get him down, he allowed Gray his space while slowly getting peeks of the real person underneath all the bah-humbug. Both Gray and Sunny have past hurts that they live with, but together they find something special as they open themselves up to each other and even though they agree it seems quick they are both invested in seeing where their relationship could take them. This was a cute holiday read, fitting right into the Christmas Falls series with two seeming opposites that attract and don’t let go.

Thera Rhode review:

This book was super good. Probably my favorite of the series. Gray and Sunny seem like total opposites but deep down they're really not that much different. This was a pretty fast burn which I loved. They both fell fast and hard and I adored that. This book was everything I needed it to be. Great story.

Heather's Review:

I love a grumpy/sunshine connection and Frost Impressions definitely gave us that.  I loved that they became accidental roommates and the snark flew!  I also love that these characters remained authentically themselves as they grew into their relationship.  This book combined banter, steam, family and holiday magic.  It's another great addition to the Christmas Falls series!
