Clair de la Lune: Ink & Fireworks is the last of a five book series of novellas featuring the beloved characters, Amory and Soyer, as they reach their HEA in this AU universe Alexa Piper has created.
From the blurb:
Soyer never expected this. He never expected love when he moved to Clair de la Lune to open a small flower shop.
And yet. Clair de la Lune with its townsfolk, charm, and traditions won him over. Of course, finding Amory made Soyer want to fit in, more than he ever thought possible.
Ink & Fireworks follows the events of Ink & Snow, Ink & Flowers, Ink & Sleigh Rides, and Ink & Moonlight which should be read first.

Such a lovely romantic ending for dear Amory and Soyer. I enjoyed this little series of novellas immensely. As I've stated before, any way I can get more of these two I will gobble it up. It was so sweet seeing them in this contemporary setting. Nobody is trying to kill anyone. Soyer doesn't have to travel and leave Amory for mysterious "jobs." There is no bodyguard assigned to keep Amory safe from kidnapping, though I don't think one would be needed in this town. It seems like everyone in it has their eyes out for Amory no matter where he goes.
I loved watching Soyer slowly, but surely find his place in the town of Clair de la Lune. His relationship with Amory aside, Soyer has found himself making friends as well. He doesn't even need Amory to tell him to offer a coffee to Sheriff Dwayne when he is nearby anymore, he automatically does it himself. It was little things like that, rather than Soyer's words, that truly showed me Soyer was finally settling in. And who wouldn't!? Clair de la Lune sounds like an amazing place to be a part of and I have no doubts that Amory and Soyer will have a joyous life ahead of themselves in this gossipy, but wonderful place.
