Sometimes you just need a kinky, forced proximity story for the holidays and when you do, I'd suggest Naughty Elf!
From the blurb:
A charismatic dancer, a mysterious cowboy, and a blizzard that shakes a secluded Montana ranch resort. This festive season is sure to be a ride like no other.
Nestled amidst the snow-kissed landscapes of Montana, a burgeoning resort with a festive fervor hires Rowan McDuffy, a popular dancer, to amp up the Christmas cheer among its guests. But the dance floor is not where Rowan's story started. It was a crutch to escape his past. But that's all behind him now, or so he thought.
Following a bewitching performance, a mysterious masked cowboy meets Rowan backstage. All he catches a glimpse of are sparkling turquoise eyes and a distinguished salt and pepper beard, as the stranger presses a hundred-dollar tip into his bewildered hand. It's not so much the tip, but the honey-smooth baritone and the gentlemanly charm of the cowboy that leaves Rowan intrigued and longing for more.
Despite his attempts, Rowan doesn't lay his eyes or hands on the elusive cowboy until Christmas Eve, where from a front-row seat, eyes as blue as a Montana sky dance with mesmerizing merriment.
Just when the celebration was reaching its peak, a sudden blackout hit the resort. An unexpected blizzard swept through the ranch, draping it in an eerily beautiful coat of white and frost. Amidst the gusty winds and soft candlelight, a sultry voice tingled Rowan's spine. It's him, the cowboy. A playful chuckle echoed in the room, "Don't worry, my naughty little elf. Santa will take good care of you."
Is it just Christmas magic at play, or is there something more enchanting about this mysterious cowboy? Hold on to your seats as this festive tale unveils a Christmas you won’t forget!
Heather's Review:
I have to be honest and say that I've had the Carillo Ranch books on my TBR for a while, but I couldn't pass up an ARC of Naughty Elf just to see if it could be read standalone, and it easily can...
This was a fun and steamy story with a little forced proximity, an exotic dancer, some light BDSM, a Santa suit and a mask...
Being a short story, it had an instant connection, but a bit of a slow build before setting the cabin on virtual fire. I will say that once they get moving - they really get moving, but in a holiday story, it's almost to be expected.
Easily read as a standalone, if you're looking for a nice way to get naughty with your reading this holiday season, add Naughty Elf to your tbr!
Naughty Elf is currently available as an e-book and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
