Hayden is a struggling college student that just wants to play professional hockey, he is a one and done type of guy until he has a one night stand that blows his mind. Leander is a billionaire vampire that is teaching on the side and needs a fake boyfriend to avoid an arranged marriage, and makes an arrangement with Hayden that fits the bill.
This story had high heat instantly and there was a lot going on with both Hayden and Leander outside of their immediate attraction, but it was fairly light on the angst. Hayden accepts vampires are real pretty easily which I appreciated and I would have enjoyed more vampire world building. This was a steamy, easy read, and an interesting start to a new series.

Very tongue'n'cheek vampire novel with a fake dating troupe and hockey thrown in as well...... Hayden is just a typical guy in his 20's - uni student on hockey scholarship. During one night of fun, he discovers another side of himself....which leads to the fake dating. I'll leave it at that because there is more to the story. I enjoyed it very much - Hayden is a hoot and a joyful character. Leander is quite intense and possessive ....but both suffer from "is he, will he, won't he...." indecisiveness that strikes them mute !! The story is very well written - love the characters and world building. It's low angst, sweet and steamy with a bit of D/s and voyeuristic pleasure.....plenty of vampy fun !!
