I Do? by Morticia Knight

Surviving his sister's wedding may be too much to ask for poor Chad when he finds out he has to share a room with his never forgotten crush from high school. But love is in the air for both Chad and Raudel when they steal their moments amid the chaos of the countdown to the wedding.

From the I Do? blurb:

That feeling when you've humiliated yourself in front of your high school crush, and now you’re being forced to share a room with him at your sister’s wedding…

Chad’s craptastic life is about to reach new heights of crapdom. Between his career as a frozen yogurt-slinger and his apartment filled with roadside rescue furniture, he can’t imagine things getting any worse. Then his sister morphs into Bridezilla and insists that everyone in the wedding party stay together in a Lake Tahoe lodge leading up to the grand affair of the century. But when she drops the bomb his crush will be joining them? Operation Avoidance goes into full swing.

Spending the week hiding from Raudel could work. What’s a few odd stares from family and friends when it means protecting what little dignity he has left? All Chad needs to do is make sure they’re never alone, no matter what.
However, his desperate scheme faces a major obstacle when he discovers their room only has one bed…

Note: I Do? Was originally published by a different publisher under a different title. While it does feature a new cover, there is no additional content. This standalone novella features a geeky, virginal guy who can't catch a break, the hot wedding guest who sees and wants him for who he is, a chocolate fountain disaster of epic proportions, and a wacky cast of characters oblivious to the swoony romance unfolding around them.

SNik's review:

Standalone novella. Rom com. One bed. POC representation. Sister’s best friend. Second chance. Single POV.

Chad’s high school crush will be attending his sister’s wedding, and Chad is dreading seeing the handsome Raudel again after an embarrassing encounter seven years ago. But Raudel has been waiting to see Chad again, because he also had feelings for Chad but never got his chance, but now at this destination wedding he’s going to shoot his shot.

Lots of wedding shenanigans interfere while Chad and Raudel try and find moments together, their relationship becomes a bit instalove as they quickly decide to to be a couple and then are in for a forever commitment. Annoying bridezilla aside, this was a cute story with a crush that saves the day and steals Chad’s heart all at once. It was fun to see Chad swept off his feet with a charming prince that has no hesitation in his commitment.
