His Wife by Aurora M. Stark

If you like an edgy -Cest book with a twisted tale, than you will want to pick up His Wife.

From the blurb:

This is the story of Ford, the oldest of the Reed brothers. You can expect unusual habits, a conservative little town, and pain, but also many sinful, erotic scenes and taboo relationships.

Life on Springbrook Heights formed Ford into a rough man, without emotion, without a sense of tenderness. Throughout his life, Ford had taken whatever pleasure was offered, even if it was given to him by those closest to him. Then a series of tragedies took away everyone. Even his brothers left their home for a better life. When Beck grew up to attend school in Havenfield, Ford was left alone on their family estate.

In the backward small town where he now goes to school, Beck removes his fake silicone breasts with a sigh every night, hoping to end the pretense as soon as possible. But everything changes after a heated Halloween night with Ford, and Beck is desperate to save their relationship.

When the truth comes out, they cannot deny their mutual attraction. However, Beck wants a gentle and tender lover, while Ford is rough and harsh. Which of these stubborn men will be the first to give in? The Reeds may have their customs and views on life, but for the happiness of both, some compromises will have to be made.

Heather's Review:

This book starts out with a lot of flashbacks and backstory, which had me setting it aside a few times, but I'm glad I stuck with it and got to the heart of the story you find a steamy and involved 'cest romance.  There is definitely dubcon and the beginning is confusing.  I would love for the author to add some more betas to smooth out the edges, but it was a fun and steamy read
