Say Uncle (Sinful Summers Duet Book 2) by Raquel Riley

Mattie is full of attitude when his mom needs help so calls on her brother to step up. Sam is used to Mattie's snark and now is faced with trying to make him have a more respectable personality.

From the Say Uncle blurb:

A bratty middle meets his match in his strict step-uncle when he pushes all the wrong buttons.

Samson

There were other ways I could’ve spent my summer, but my sister’s stepson needed a swift kick in the rear and she thought I was the perfect man for the job. I’m no brat tamer, so being saddled with one wasn't my idea of a good time, but I can see the appeal when my… less-than-conventional methods prove fruitful.

Matteo

Sam is an egotistical, cocky, rude, impatient jerk. He’s also my boss for the summer… and my stepmom’s brother—did I mention he’s hot AF? He’s supposed to be teaching me a lesson about becoming a man and respecting authority, but his methods probably aren’t what my parents had in mind.

Say Uncle is an MM taboo tropical romance with MM + MM play with no cheating. Features an age gap, a bratty sub, and a Dom who likes having his buttons pushed. Set sail aboard the Harlowe Two for a wild scorching summer adventure.

Reed Kaye's review:

This is the second book in the Sinful Summers series. I love this series.

Sam, Cass and Nicky have settled into a lifestyle when Sam’s sister calls asking for help with her son Mattie.

Mattie and Sam’s interaction so far has been snarky on both sides. Now they will be forced together twenty four seven and have to come to a better attitude toward each other.

Mattie also has to readjust his first opinions of Nicky. He also has to be willing to admit his attraction to Sam and Sam has to admit his attraction to Mattie.

Sam comes to realize that Mattie has a talent for photography and letting Mattie follow that passion brings change for all the guys.

I really enjoyed this addition and the characters from the previous book being such a big part of the story and relationships. I was sorry when it ended.

Molly Otto's review:

Part two of the Sinful Summers Duet you have Sam finding is the other half and the fourth to this relationship. For Cass, Nicky, and Sam, it's as simple as the person who ends up with Sam needs to be comfortable with their dynamic of this relationship could never work. Matteo is a brat, yes, but he just needs a strong nourtuing hand who will also discipline him. Once Matteo allows himself to be open, the chemistry is off the charts with all the men in this relationship. Yes, Sam is his partner, but Cass & Nicky are also a huge part of his life. This book is pure fire, loved all the explorations they tried out as a group, and separately.

GaleM's review:

So what did I like about this story? Seriously? Then let's make it simple before I write a book about the book! Everything! Every word was genuine, heartfelt and hit emotionally hard.

Matteo was a tightly locked box of brewing under the surface ball of anxiety and suffering; so many tangled feelings, waiting to be freed and unleashed. Turned out the key and the solution were Sam but not only... Nicky was the perfect counterpart - his irresistible sweetness was able to break through all the walls Matteo was hiding behind. And if this wasn't enough - then there is Cass. Who brought in some cool touch and balance. These 4 men made one unbreakable and unforgettable quad - rallying for each other in all the right moments like 4 musketeers but in a modern setting and in the cradle of the sea.
