Wrapping up the Flying into Love series, we're headed to the USA with American Dream.
From the blurb:
Can acting out the American dream with his dad’s best friend change an unyielding fantasy into reality?
Eddie Brownlee’s Hollywood dreams turn to nightmare when his safety is threatened.
Ex cop Lee Everett steps in as his reluctant bodyguard.
Stuffed together in hotel rooms with only one bed and navigating the vast desert landscape, Eddie’s long-standing crush on his dad’s best friend complicates things. Especially when Eddie ignites something in Lee he’d thought he’d left at the top of a mountain.
Struggling between desire and duty, Lee faces a whirlwind of emotions that could threaten everything he holds dear.
This time it's not his career on the line, though. It's Eddie’s life.
And his heart.

Heather's Review:
I'm so sad that the Flying into Love series is wrapping up (for now) but I love that CF White gave us a father's best friend, age gap, forced proximity, bi-awakening love story that featured a fair amount of external drama, some major angst on Lee's part and a dogged determination on Eddie's part to not only live his Hollywood dream but also his fairytale one...
This story is a delicious romp filled with only one bed hotel rooms, a wonky shooting schedule that takes them all over the place... and the fact that Eddie uses Lee as inspiration for his intimacy scenes with his female co-star have these two all over the place...
I love watching Eddie wear down Lee, and also watching Lee as he grows to understand just how deep his feelings for Eddie are, especially when dealing with a huge crisis...
This book was a great read and a great way to finish the series, although the author does say that there's a possibility of future tales at some point in the distant future. All of these books feature leaving comfortable surroundings to explore elsewhere, but they can easily be read standalone.
American Dream is currently available as an e-book and paperback and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
